It starts from the observation that the intention to produce a complete version of Baudelaire’s work has often been expressed, but rarely carried out, due to aesthetic, technical and interpretative difficulties. The first anthological efforts are discussed at length - in particular the significant contribution of Geo Dumitrescu, who, in the absence of a single translation, coordinated a composite edition, brought together from variants belonging to several translators. Subsequently, three major editorial projects from 1991 - signed by Al. Cerna-Rădulescu, C. D. Zeletin and Radu Cârneci - are analyzed, which represent the first successful attempts to offer the public a complete translation made by a single author. Each translator is presented both through the prism of their selection and organization of poetic material, and by reflecting their own vision of translation as an act of creation and aesthetic reconfiguration. The article also pays special attention to the recent edition signed by Octavian Soviany (2014), remarkable for its completeness, but lacking adequate critical reception, despite the artistic quality recognized by informed readers. In parallel, the conceptual difficulties related to the notion of “complete edition” are discussed, which vary depending on the French sources consulted by the translators and the delimitations imposed by the publishers. Peritextual resources (prefaces, introductions, translator's notes) are also highlighted as relevant tools in shaping the translation profile. The comparative analysis of these volumes shows that the complete translation of The Flowers of Evil is not a simple exercise in textual fidelity, but a complex form of dialogue between the original poet and the poet-translator, which simultaneously requires deep identification, critical distance and technical mastery of lyrical language.
2023-12-10T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) 2026 Theleologicae International Journal of Postmodern Studieshttp://www.epejournals.com/index.php/tijps/article/view/67We Were All Once Analogue… Natives, Immigrants, and the Emergence of Homo Digitalis. The Fiction of a New Species2026-01-16T13:53:12+02:00Daniela Simionovicidsimionovici@gmail.com
The conceptual distinction between “digital natives” and “digital immigrants” has become, over the past two decades, a common explanatory framework in analyzing generational attitudes toward technology. Initially proposed by Marc Prensky, this dichotomy has been widely adopted in educational and social contexts, despite its tendency to oversimplify the actual behaviors of users. These labels suggest an artificial segmentation, rooted more in cultural assumptions than in robust empirical criteria. By attributing a “native competence” to younger individuals and assuming a structural difficulty among adults, the discourse risks reducing complex realities and overlooking relevant factors such as individual exposure, motivation, learning processes, and social context. Subsequent alternatives, such as the typologies proposed by Zur and Walker (2015), highlight the need for more flexible interpretative models that reflect the diversity of attitudes and ways of engaging with the digital universe. Instead of a chronological and hierarchical interpretive grid, a more nuanced approach is gradually emerging, one that values individual experiences, everyday practices, and the incremental processes of technological integration. In this light, differences in digital competence are no longer treated as biological or generational givens, but as outcomes of educational and cultural dynamics. This reconfiguration allows for a more realistic and contextualized understanding of how individuals interact with digital technology in contemporary society.
2023-12-10T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) 2026 Theleologicae International Journal of Postmodern Studieshttp://www.epejournals.com/index.php/tijps/article/view/68The Relationship Between Teaching and Learning in the School Subject Romanian Language and Literature at Primary Level: Didactic Premises and Formative Implications2026-01-16T14:10:18+02:00Vasilica Simionovicisimionoviciv@yahoo.com
The teaching of Romanian language and literature in primary education involves a complex relationship between the transmission of knowledge and the development of students’ linguistic and literary competences. This process requires not only mastery of curricular content, but also continuous adaptation to the real needs of children. The present paper examines the didactic premises of this relationship, highlighting the central role of the teacher in shaping a coherent, engaging, and formative educational approach. Given the increasingly frequent challenges related to students’ reception of literary texts and assimilation of grammatical concepts, the necessity of continuous professional development for teachers is emphasized, alongside the use of differentiated methods tailored to the psychopedagogical characteristics of the age group. The analysis begins from the premise that the primary school teacher is not merely a transmitter of information, but rather a facilitator of learning and a relational model with a lasting formative impact. Particular emphasis is placed on in-depth knowledge of the student cohort and of each individual pupil, as the personalization of didactic intervention fosters real and sustainable progress. In the examination of the teaching-learning relationship, key components such as the role of literary texts, vocabulary development, stimulation of imagination, and the cultivation of reading interest from the early school years are addressed. Additionally, aspects related to formative assessment, pedagogical observation, and the use of worksheets as support tools in the consolidation of linguistic acquisitions are explored. The proposed perspective is an integrative one, in which the cognitive dimension of learning is complemented by affective and motivational factors, aiming to support the pupil’s holistic development. By presenting these reference points and grounding the discussion in contemporary didactic realities, the article contributes to a deeper understanding of the interplay between teaching and learning within Romanian language and literature classes at the primary school level.
2023-12-10T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) 2026 Theleologicae International Journal of Postmodern Studieshttp://www.epejournals.com/index.php/tijps/article/view/69Combating Corruption in the Romanian Public Sector. Normative Framework, Institutional Mechanisms and Systemic Challenges2026-01-16T14:30:41+02:00Alin Ștefan Șpacspac.alin20@gmail.com
The article provides a critical and integrative analysis of the legal and institutional framework governing the fight against corruption within Romanian public administration, without limiting itself to a mere inventory of the relevant norms or institutions, but rather pursuing the internal logic of this system, its interdependencies, and the structural tensions that weaken it. Corruption is approached not merely as a manifestation of deviant individual behavior, but as the result of a combination of institutional, cultural, and political factors that sustain persistent vulnerabilities. The article highlights how national legislation has evolved over the past decades to respond both to internal demands for administrative reform and to external pressures, particularly in the context of European integration and Romania’s commitments within the European Union. Relevant provisions from key legislative acts are discussed, including regulations on incompatibilities, conflicts of interest, the protection of whistleblowers acting in the public interest, transparency in the exercise of public office, and the assessment of integrity risks. The analysis does not stop at the formal level of regulation but examines how these norms are implemented in practice, with emphasis on the functioning of specialized agencies, the administrative capacity of institutions to implement coherent anti-corruption policies, and the internal mechanisms for control and ethics. In this regard, recurrent obstacles are identified that limit the effectiveness of existing mechanisms: fragmented responsibilities, lack of institutional coordination, weak performance evaluation, political pressure on certain independent authorities, and a low level of commitment to integrity principles at the decision-making level. The article offers a systemic reading of administrative corruption, articulating a theoretical perspective with applied observations on the institutional realities of Romania. The aim is not only to provide a diagnosis of the current framework but also to offer a basis for reflection on potential directions for reform, with a focus on cultural transformation, the professionalization of public administration, and the reconstruction of public trust in the functioning of state institutions.
2023-12-10T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) 2026 Theleologicae International Journal of Postmodern Studies
